The family-owned company mb-microtec ag is the world-renowned inventor of the self-illuminating technology trigalight. From its high-tech headquarters in Niederwangen near Bern, Switzerland, the company supplies its innovative products worldwide to the watch, security, automotive, aerospace, and aviation industries. Additionally, the company produces its own prestigious watch brand, traser swiss H3 watches, which are defined by their uncompromising tactical performance and constant illumination.

The Creative Vision For this brand production, our challenge was to translate a highly technical, microscopic innovation—the trigalight—into a compelling visual narrative. The film explores the precision of Swiss engineering, moving from the sterile, high-tech laboratory environments where these self-illuminating tubes are manufactured to the rugged, real-world applications of the traser watch line. We focused on the contrast between deep shadows and the vibrant, constant glow of the technology, using light itself as the primary storytelling device.

Technical Execution & Cinematic Approach To document the intricate assembly and chemical processes behind mb-microtec’s success, we utilized high-resolution macro-cinematography and controlled studio lighting. Every frame was designed to reflect the brand’s commitment to "Swiss Made" quality and reliability. By combining clean, industrial wide shots of the Bern headquarters with intimate, detailed close-ups of the tritium-filled glass capillaries, we created a film that honors both the heritage and the futuristic vision of mb-microtec. The result is a cinematic portrait of a global leader in light technology, positioning their brand as an essential partner for the world's most demanding industries.
